We welcome male and female umpires from 14 years of age, from beginner to advanced understandings of netball.

 Umpire Development Program

Currently the Doncaster & Districts Netball Association coordinates umpire development through the Saturday Competition.
  • Complete the Netball Theory Examination online HERE 
  • Register your interest with DDNA HERE, they will directly contact trainees to advise when places become available.  
  • Following contact from the DDNA Umpire Co-ordinator, complete the online Foundation Umpiring Course. As this is a paid course, only complete it following DDNA contact to confirm commencement date as a trainee umpire.
  • Queries concerning this process, please submit in writing to umpires@ddna.com.au or speak with the DDNA Umpire Co-ordinator on match days at the Courts Complex.
